Agenda Committee

Campus: St. Joseph's College,Brooklyn Campus

The Brooklyn Campus Agenda Committee acts as a channel for faculty to submit topics for discussion or announcement at regular faculty meetings.

Functions

  • meet 10 days prior to faculty meetings to discuss items submitted

  • draw up and publish the agenda for the faculty meeting in the order in which it is to be presented.

Membership

  • four members elected by the faculty at the May faculty meeting

  • president and academic dean, ex-officio

The Long Island Campus Agenda Committee acts as a channel for faculty to submit topics for discussion or announcement at regular faculty meetings.

Functions

  • apprise faculty 10 days prior to the Agenda Committee meeting of opportunities to submit agenda or announcements

  • meet prior to faculty meetings to assess items submitted and to set and publish the agenda

  • conduct elections for various committees at the faculty meetings

  • take minutes of the faculty meeting (elected members volunteer this service on a rotating basis)

Membership

  • four faculty members elected by the faculty at the May faculty meeting

  • academic dean and assistant to the president, ex-officio
