E-Learning Steering Committee

Purpose: To promote innovation and quality in the College’s online offerings by providing direction in the development and review of e-learning policies, standards and procedures.

Functions:

  • To review and disseminate the Colleges policies, standards and procedures in light of best practices in e-learning.

  • Foster continuous improvement in the College’s online offerings by encouraging experimentation and the implementation of innovations.

  • In reference to the above matters, make recommendations to the appropriate venue.

Membership:

  • Full-time faculty: 6 chosen by the Provost from among volunteers (two-year term)

  • Ex Officio: Coordinator of Innovative Instruction—Co-chair, Manager of Instructional Technology—Co-chair

  • Provost

  • Deans of the Schools of Art and Sciences

  • Vice President and Dean, School of Professional and Graduate Studies

  • Director of Organizational Management Online Program

  • Assistant Dean, School of Professional and Graduate Studies
