Applicants for the graduate program in nursing must meet the following requirements:
have a B.S. with a major in nursing from a nationally accredited program (NLNAC or CCNE)
have an undergraduate 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (preference will be given to applicants with a 3.3 or above)
completed one year of professional clinical practice prior to admission
provide proof of New York State R.N. license and current professional registration
meet all current college and program health requirements and provide documentation (additional requirements will apply to clinical practicums)
submit a current curriculum vitae and personal statement
submit two letters of reference (at least one from a clinical supervisor who can address clinical competence)
submit official transcripts of undergraduate work
submit proof of certificate of basic life-support prior to entering clinical practicums
complete pre-admission interview
