ARA 151 ELEMENTARY ARABIC I
Campus:

A communicative approach to the fundamentals of the Arabic language with emphasis on the alphabet, listening comprehension, speaking and cultural awareness. This course, along with ARA 152, is designed to enable students to communicate in Arabic in everyday situations. For students who have no (or little) previous knowledge of Arabic. 3 hours a week, 1 semester, 3 credits. Fall.
ARA 152 ELEMENTARY ARABIC II
Campus:

A continuation of ARA 151 with increasing emphasis on oral communication, grammatical structures, reading, writing and appreciation of Arabic-speaking cultures. Open to students who have completed ARA 151 or its equivalent. 3 hours a week, 1 semester, 3 credits. Spring.
