Certificate Programs

This 12-credit certificate in leadership and supervision is designed to improve supervisory and managerial effectiveness. Through selected courses and a case-study orientation, the participants will learn to apply prominent theories and practices in employee management and development to commonly encountered problems and situations. Courses taken for the certificate in leadership and supervision may be applied toward the B.S. in Organizational Management. Twelve credits are required.

This 15-credit certificate in human resources has as its purpose the successful management of human resources in support of organizational effectiveness. It is designed to provide specialized study of such personnel management activities as work analysis, staffing, training and development, employee appraisal, compensation, enhancement of work environment, personnel law and labor relations. Courses taken for the human resources certificate may be applied toward the B. S. in Organizational Management.
