Computer Science

The computer science field is still increasing in demand and remains one of the fastest growing careers in the United States. St. Joseph’s College students have already taken advantage of this growth.

SJC graduates can be found working as computer programmers, animation and computer graphics specialists, Web designers and security analysts. Our curriculum is based on the Association for Computing Machinery, the premier organization for computer professionals. We combine a strong theoretical foundation with a focus on practical applications, and our students are encouraged to participate in internships at some of the industry’s foremost companies.

St. Joseph’s B.S. in Computer Science is exclusively offered at the Long Island Campus, where students study in the $8.6 million Business Technology Center. From smart boards to clickers our classrooms are equipped with latest state-of-the-art technology.
