Psychology Degree Requirements

The psychology major prepares students for graduate study and professions where knowledge of psychological principles is fundamental. Students that choose the psychology major must complete a 36-credit curriculum that includes:

Elective psychology courses should be selected from a variety of areas with departmental advisement. Biology is the preferred natural science core for psychology majors. Students preparing for graduate study in psychology are advised to complete courses in a foreign language and in computer science.
