Economics focuses on how societies deal with scarcity. The resources we need to live productive lives are limited and we must produce and distribute them to meet our needs. Economists study the arrangements societies make to solve this problem.

Economics minor
Eighteen credits are required to complete the economics minor. Courses should be selected in consultation with an economics faculty member and the student’s major adviser. A minimum average of C is required.
