Beta Beta Beta: National Biology Honor Society
Theta Iota Chapter

Tri-Beta is a national biology professional and honor society. Its program is three-fold, emphasizing the stimulation of scholarship, dissemination of scientific knowledge and promotion of undergraduate research. To become a regular member a student must have completed at least 3 semesters of biology (12 credits), have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA and have a 3.0 biology course GPA or better.

Transfer students must take at least one course at St. Joseph's College to be eligible for election to the society. Service to the Department of Biology and high standards of personal behavior are also required.
