Marketing

Advertising, public relations, consumer motivation and marketing research — all of these play a major part in creating the perfect marketing strategy. Knowing your audience is also a critical factor and St. Joseph’s College B.S. in Marketing provides the necessary skills to promote a specific product.

Combined with business and accounting courses, our program offers an extensive marketing curriculum that results in a complete and comprehensive education, preparing you for several careers.

The Department of Business Administration in Brooklyn offers two optional concentrations for students majoring in the department. The concentrations are sports management and finance. Each concentration consists of six courses. The courses in each concentration are applied towards electives as well. Some of the topics covered in sports management are sports law, facilities management, marketing and planning. A sampling of the areas studied in finance include investment analysis and management, money and banking, international finance and insurance. These concentrations, along with other courses required for a department major, prepare students to embark upon a career in finance or sports management.
