The mental health career track was implemented for students pursuing careers in the mental health field. The program serves as an excellent primer for graduate work in the mental health professions, including clinical or counseling work, occupational or recreational therapy, social work, mental health rehabilitation and gerontology.
This track combines a solid foundation in the concepts and procedures of mental health work and provides opportunities for field experience. Twenty-one credits are required for the career track.
