Benefits of attending St. Joseph’s College
The College offers a special tuition rate for servicemembers (active duty, National Guard and Reserve) enrolled in any undergraduate degree or certificate program offered on campus, online or at a military installation. The rate of $250 per credit (the amount that is covered by Tuition Assistance) applies to students registered for up to 9 credits per semester. Students wishing to take more than 9 credits will be charged full tuition for all credits taken. This special rate also applies to dependents of active duty servicemembers.
For the eighth consecutive year, U.S. News & World Report has ranked St. Joseph’s College among the top-tier comprehensive colleges in the North for 2009.
St. Joseph’s is a participating member of the Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges (SOC) and a core SOCAD-4 member participating in the management network.
Credit will be granted for your military training and experience.
Credit is also awarded for CLEP, DANTES, College Board Advanced Placement Exams, Guide to Educational Credit by Exam and ACE National Guide to Educational Credit for Training Programs (CREDIT).
Additional credit may be earned through the College’s Prior Experiential Learning Assessment Program.
