Benefits of attending St. Joseph’s College

  • The College offers a special tuition rate for servicemembers (active duty, National Guard and Reserve) enrolled in any undergraduate degree or certificate program offered on campus, online or at a military installation. The rate of $250 per credit (the amount that is covered by Tuition Assistance) applies to students registered for up to 9 credits per semester. Students wishing to take more than 9 credits will be charged full tuition for all credits taken. This special rate also applies to dependents of active duty servicemembers.

  • For the eighth consecutive year, U.S. News & World Report has ranked St. Joseph’s College among the top-tier comprehensive colleges in the North for 2009.

  • St. Joseph’s is a participating member of the Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges (SOC) and a core SOCAD-4 member participating in the management network.

  • Credit will be granted for your military training and experience.

  • Credit is also awarded for CLEP, DANTES, College Board Advanced Placement Exams, Guide to Educational Credit by Exam and ACE National Guide to Educational Credit for Training Programs (CREDIT).

  • Additional credit may be earned through the College’s Prior Experiential Learning Assessment Program.
