Computer Information Systems

Industry leaders are constantly recruiting and St. Joseph’s College’s computer information systems graduates are a suitable fit. Systems analysts. Network and database administrators. Web application developers. Our graduates have entered these and other careers after receiving the program’s top-notch education.

Long Island Campus students study in St. Joseph’s new $8 million Business and Technology Center, which houses Smart Classrooms, new computers and the latest software. Brooklyn students enjoy similar resources in an urban setting.

The computer information systems program challenges students and educates through its thorough curriculum in addition to offering internships at the industry’s foremost institutions. The program builds on fundamentals that include programming, algorithms, data structures, software engineering and computer networking.

Students can earn the B.S. in Computer Information Systems and a subsequent master’s in computer science from Polytechnic University within five years.
