Adult Learner Admission Events

Admissions Appointments

Most adults schedule one-on-one appointments with an admissions counselor to review their transcript and explore degree and career options. A typical appointment lasts 30–45 minutes. After the appointment, the prospective student can tour the campus.

Open Houses

Typically, open houses are held twice a year at both campuses and they represent all aspects of the College. Potential adult students can explore all of the degree offerings of St. Joseph’s and participate in organized tours of the campus. See all upcoming adult program admissions events.

One-Stop Enrollment Events

These are special events usually offered during May, June, August, December and January, where admissions counselors from the School of Professional and Graduate Studies handle new student applications and registration on a walk-in basis. Prospective adult students, who use this option, usually can complete the process in one visit. If there is missing paperwork, then the admissions candidate can begin the process and forward the paperwork at a later date. See all upcoming adult program admissions events.

Career Seminars

Usually once a year, each School of Professional and Graduate Studies major offers a special seminar for prospective students who might be interested in a specific major. In these events, adults can meet some of the major’s faculty and students, as well as alumni who are working in related careers or attending graduate programs.
