Designed for working adults holding leadership positions in the public service, private and nonprofit sectors, the M.S. in Management with concentrations in organizational management, health care management or human resources management and the Executive Master of Business Administration (E.M.B.A.) have as their purpose the promotion of managerial effectiveness and the enhancement of human performance in organizations.

Admissions Criteria
All applicants for admission to the graduate management programs must possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education with a 3.0 undergraduate GPA. In addition, applicants typically will be required to be employed in a full-time position and will have substantial work experience involving supervision, program development, specialized training, considerable responsibility and/or independent judgment. In those cases where an applicant’s experiential qualifications fall short of the aforementioned criteria, the GMAT will be required. Applicants will also be required to complete the necessary undergraduate prerequisites in advance of the specific graduate courses for which they are required.
To facilitate the international student admissions process, we have listed the steps you should follow:
Step One
Complete, sign and date the M.S. in Management or E.M.B.A. application for admission. Attach a check or money order for $25 (nonrefundable application fee).
Step Two
Provide
evidence of possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited
institution of higher education with a 3.0 undergraduate GPA.
Applicants submitting transcripts from foreign educational institutions are required to obtain a course-by-course evaluation from World Education Services (WES). Applicants deal directly with WES and are responsible for following the procedures of the service and payment of all fees charged for that service. Step Three
Complete the application for Form I-20. Attach supporting documents that prove the financial ability of yourself and/or your sponsor(s).
Step Four
Develop a professional résumé.
Step Five
Request two Letter of Reference forms: one from an academic source and one from a professional source (preferred) or two from professional sources.
Step Six
Complete the Verification of Employment form and request a signed letter from your current and/or past employer describing your primary responsibilities.
Step Seven
If English is not your native language:
- take the TOEFL test and receive a minimum score of 550 (paper-based) or 213 (computer-based) or 79-80 Internet base total (for more information about the test see the official website for the Test of English as a Foreign Language)

- take IELTS exam and obtain a minimum score of 6 (for more information about the International English Language System, please visit www.ielts.org)
Step Eight
Take
a GMAT test if you do not possess at least one year of substantial
work experience involving supervision, program development, specialized
training, considerable responsibility and/or independent judgment. For

Step Nine
After
you have been accepted for admission to the College and we have
received your appropriate financial documentation, you will have a Form I-20
(Certificate of Eligibility for Non-Immigrant Student Status) issued.
To
apply for an F-1 student visa, which will allow you to enter the United
States, you will need to submit Form I-20; a valid passport, a letter
of acceptance from St. Joseph's College; evidence of financial support;
evidence of English ability sufficient for course of study; evidence of
intent to depart the U.S. after completion of studies; Form DS-156,
Form DS-157 (if applicable); Form DS-158, a photograph; a Machine
Readable Visa (MRV) surcharge fee, a visa reciprocity fee (if
applicable, add a SEVIS fee) to the U.S. Consular Office in your home

Step 10
All
students accepted to the College who were born on or after January 1,
1957 are required to submit a proof of immunity against measles, mumps and rubella in order to register for classes. Download the Measles, Mumps and Rubella Immunization Record form. You must take this form to your doctor or health care
provider who should complete and sign it. In addition, please read and
complete the Meningitis Information Response form.
Application Deadlines
The application deadline for international students is May 1 for the fall semester and October 1 for the spring semester.
