College Parents of America is the only national membership association dedicated to advocating and to serving on behalf of current and future college parents. This site features helpful resources, time lines, newsletters and advice.
The ACT is a college entrance exam offered to students. On their website, parents can find materials to help prepare their student for the exam, as well as helpful articles regarding higher education.

New York State Higher Education Services Corporation (HESC)
HESC is an organization through New York State that helps families with their financial aid process. It is also responsible for distributing Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) funds to New York residents.
