Information About Maintaining Your F-1 Status
Make sure to bring the following documents to the international admissions office within two weeks of your arrival in the U.S.:
Immunization documents
Stamped I-20
I-94 card (which will be stapled into your passport opposite your visa)
A photocopy of your course registration for your first semester
The Information About Maintaining Your F-1 Status document. You will required to sign this document and a copy will be kept in your records to indicate you understand your responsibilities as an F-1 student at St. Joseph’s College.

Although you may have your Form I-20 before this date, U.S. law prohibits entering the U.S. more than 30 days before the program start date indicated on your Form I-20. Do not attempt to use your Form I-20 to enter the U.S. earlier than this date, you may be returned to your home country or asked to pay a fee to be admitted as a tourist, which will not permit you to attend school.
Latest
This is the date that appears on your Form I-20. If you are not able to arrive by this date, contact our office immediately. Do not make plans to come to the U.S. after this date. Immigration can deny your entry if you arrive after this date.
The last day to make changes to your class schedule is January 25 and you must report to the international admissions office within two weeks of the start of classes. You can schedule an appointment by emailing or calling:
