American Red Cross Lifeguard Course

Enroll in our American Red Cross Lifeguard Course and earn your lifeguard certification in just 10 sessions – just in time for summer!

Swim test: January 25, 5:30 p.m.
Classes: February 1 to April 12
5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
No class: March 29
Instructor: Maureen Lundquist

Fee: $400 ($200 for SJC students)
Fee includes lifeguard manual, pocket mask and certification in lifeguarding, first aid and CPR/AED

Required January 25 swim test includes:

• Must be at least 15 years of age on or before end date

• 300-yard swim demonstrating front crawl, breaststroke, elementary backstroke and sidestroke

• Timed 50-yard swim retrieving 10-pound brick in less than one minute and 40 seconds
