Artist in Residence: Bassam Saba

This year we are pleased to have Bassam Saba, director of the New York Arabic Orchestra, as our Artist in Residence. Known throughout the U.S. and abroad as one of Arabic music’s finest conductors/instrumentalist, Bassam Saba has led the NYAO to prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. Through his residence, Mr. Saba will share the tradition of Arabic culture via lectures and demonstrations. He will conclude with a performance with fellow NYAO musician, April Centrone. Lunch will be served at the performance.
