The Institute for the Study of Religion in Community Life will present a lecture by keynote speaker James P. McCartin, Ph.D., co-director of the Fordham Center on Religion and Culture, along with a panel discussion by Rev. Monsignor John Strynkowski, Ph.D., rector at the Cathedral Basilica of St. James; Emil A. Wcela, Ph.D., auxiliary bishop emeritus for the Diocese of Rockville Centre; and Phyllis Zagano, Ph.D., senior research associate-in-residence and adjunct professor of religion at Hofstra University.
