Water Safety Instructor Classes

American Red Cross certification water safety instructor course

This 12-class course is being offered at the St. Joseph's College in the John A. Danzi Athletic Center on Wednesdays from 7:15 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Class dates are as follows: February 10, 24, March 3, 10, 17, 24, April 7, 14, 21, 28, May 5, 12. There will be no class on February 17 and March 31.

There will be a prerequisite swim on Wednesday, February 10 which consists of:

• Swim 25 yards of front crawl, back crawl, breaststroke, elementary backstroke and sidestroke

• 15 yards of butterfly

• Back float in the deep end for 1 minute

• Tread water for 1 minute

Fees:  $230.00 course fee. Please make your check payable to: St. Joseph's College. There is also a $75.33 book fee. Make that check payable to the American Red Cross.
