Writer's Foundry Open House

Date and time: 2/12/2013 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Campus: Brooklyn
Location: Tuohy Auditorium

Come join us on Tuesday, February 12 as the Writer’s Foundry holds its first open discussion on its approach to the art of writing and fostering writing talent.

At this event, which is free and open to the public, Jackson Taylor, director of the Writer’s Foundry, will discuss the program and how its unique pedagogy differs from more traditional graduate writing programs.

Along with this, Mr. Taylor will talk about his personal experience in developing writers and his overarching vision for the Foundry, the first boutique M.F.A. in Creative Writing program in the long and steeped literary history of Clinton Hill.

We envision a free-flowing exchange of ideas and welcome all writers who seek to share their insights and perspectives on the creative writing process regardless of background; all we ask is that you bring your ideas and an open mind.

Refreshments will be served.
