The B.S.N./Nursing Club is a group of registered nurses that are completing their B.S. in Nursing at St. Joseph’s College. The club’s activities include blood pressure screenings, health fairs and participation in Stress Management Week.
Established in 1988, the B.S.N./Nursing Club is open to all nursing majors. The club:
fosters the development of leadership qualities
strengthens commitment to the ideals and purposes of the profession
provides a support system for existing and new students
provides services to increase health awareness to the College community
disseminates information to enrich student life
The club’s officers include the president, vice president, secretary, treasurer and a faculty adviser. Barbara Carlstrom is the faculty adviser for the Long Island Campus and Tae Sook Kim, Ph.D. assumes the role in Brooklyn.
Meetings are held monthly while school is in session.
