St. Joseph’s College students have a plethora of extracurricular activity opportunities within reach through our Office of Cocurricular Programs. Joining the Student Government Association, clubs, athletics, organizations and committees emphasizes leadership, community service and effective communication. We also arrange for a student's health insurance as well as organize new and transfer student orientation.
The office, administered by Director of Cocurricular Programs Sherrie VanArnam, complements and supports the academic mission of the College by providing students with a wide range of these opportunities for dialogue, inquiry, service and growth. A spirit of collaboration among students, faculty and administration fosters and supports a learning environment that:
establishes educational partnerships between curricular and cocurricular areas
celebrates multiculturalism and inclusion
promotes an appreciation for the fine arts
offers programs and services to maximize student development
Programs
and activities sponsored by the Office of Student Life are a reflection
of how the College accomplishes its educational purpose
