Campus Security

The mission of the Office of Security is to provide a safe and secure environment for students, faculty, staff and campus visitors. To attain this goal, SJC security maintains a community-friendly approach that enhances safety and has helped the College remain incident-free.

Campus safety is a cooperative effort. St. Joseph’s College takes every step to ensure that its campuses are as safe as possible for students, faculty and staff. Help is always needed to maintain this secure atmosphere. By reading the information contained in these pages, you are doing your part in making SJC a safe and secure college campus.

In addition to their role in keeping the College’s two campuses incident-free, SJC security officers are certified to assist in medical emergencies and have access to portable defibrillators for emergency situations.

Take time to carefully read through the safety and parking information and contact Carmine Abbatiello at 631.687.2692 on the Long Island Campus or Mike McGrann at 718.940.5741 on the Brooklyn Campus for more information.
