Career Development

The Office of Career Development, Wellness and Disability Services is dedicated to assisting students with finding a lifelong, fulfilling career. Programs, services and events at St. Joseph’s College promote student learning and encourage self and career exploration. Collaboration with faculty, alumni and employers is an integral part of providing opportunities to enhance career services.

The office provides all St. Joseph’s College students and alumni with guidance, information, skill development and career-building opportunities that will be useful as you choose, enter, change or advance your careers. Our counselors will assist you in every step of your career planning process including choosing a major or career field, writing a résumé and cover letter, interviewing skills, searching for an internship or job and choosing a graduate school. Resources such as Optimal Resume and its many career tools are provided by our counseling staff. Individual appointments are confidential and free of charge. Career workshops and events are offered throughout the semester to further assist you with your career goals.

Career counseling sessions are generally 30-60 minutes. Appointments can be scheduled by contacting the office at:
