Class Descriptions
Yoga: Invigorate and Energize: A powerful class with a lot of movement to build strength & flexibility. Change into comfortable clothing.
Meditation: Learn to reduce stress by developing a practice of nonjudgmental, moment-to-moment attention. Classes include mindful yoga, body scan, mindful eating, mindful communication, and of course, sitting meditation.
Yoga: Relax and Renew: A gentle class that will alleviate stress. Change into comfortable clothing.
Yoga Nidra: Full body scan with guided visualization and breathing techniques. Keep daily attire on. Class is conducted lying down.
Space is available to SJC students, faculty, staff and alumni (alumni must pay a $5 fee). Guests of SJC affiliates are welcome if there is available space to participate in the class, and must pay a $5 fee. If there is no available space in the class, the guest may choose to use the track or fitness room after completing a fitness tour.
All instructors are certified and trained. Join classes at any time. Must show valid SJC ID and sign in at the Danzi Center front desk. For more information, call 631.687.1448.
