Kripalu Yoga: A form of Hatha Yoga using inner focus, meditation, standard yoga poses, breath work, "development of a quiet mind" and relaxation. It emphasizes "following the flow" of prana, or "life-force energy," compassionate self-acceptance, observing the activity of the mind without judgment and taking what is learned into daily life.
Zumba: A fun workout designed to tone the body. It combines Latin and other multi-cultural inspired music and dance steps. Change into comfortable clothing.
Space is available to SJC students, faculty, staff and alumni (alumni must pay a $5 fee). Guests of SJC affiliates are welcome if there is available space to participate in the class, and must pay a $5 fee. If there is no available space in the class, the guest may choose to use the track or fitness room after completing a fitness tour.
