Habitat for Humanity seeks to eliminate impoverished housing conditions and homelessness by making affordable housing a matter of conscience and action. Habitat for Humanity enables the St. Joseph’s College community to meet, build houses and increase awareness of the poverty that exists in communities all over the country. Since the club is open to all, it serves as a great way to make new friends and get involved at the College, as well as giving back through community service.

ALTERNATIVE SPRING BREAK
Every year, Habitat for Humanity goes on the Alternative Spring Break trip. We get the opportunity to travel somewhere in the country in order to help AmeriCorps volunteers on a real Habitat for Humanity build.
For a first-hand perspective, check out the Alternative Spring Break video testimonials from SJC students and staff.
