The Honors Association allows members of the Freshmen Honors Program and other honor societies at the College the opportunity to work together to help the College community, the local community and our selected charity, Contractors for Kids.
The Honors Association strives to provide those interested in joining an honor society and those who wish to earn community service hours an opportunity to do so. Volunteer tutoring is a club requirement, which can be completed either off campus or on campus through the SJC Academy tutoring program.

OUR CHARITY
The Honors Association raises money and does volunteer work for Contractors for Kids, an organization striving to help families facing financial hardship brought on by the sickness of a child. Visit the organization's website for more information.
SJC Academy
The SJC Academy tutoring program is offered through the College for students of the Patchogue-Medford, Connetquot and Islip school districts. Tutoring will be offered on most Saturdays in the Business Technology Center (BT C-10). Sessions may be canceled without notice due to inclement weather. Any students seeking assistance should bring the necessary materials (e.g. textbook, notes, essays) to ensure we can properly assist you.
