Intramural Policies

Who can participate?

All students, faculty and staff are eligible to participate in intramurals. If you are unable to form a complete team for a sport, please contact the intramurals office.

The success of St. Joseph’s College’s intramurals program depends on the willingness and commitment of the participants. Interest forms are available outside the intramurals office, the John A. Danzi Athletic Center and the Office of Student Life. You can also download the form from the St. Joseph’s website. These forms allow you to sign up for different sports and also give you a chance to suggest any new ideas.

Scheduling Procedures

Anyone hoping to start a new sport or team must check with Intramurals Director Bryan Gill. Prospective dates and times for games and tournaments will be posted on the St. Joseph’s College website. Games are usually played Monday through Thursday, beginning at Common Hour (12:40 p.m) and ending approximately at 2 p.m. Evening games will be played approximately from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. Some weekend activities are also available.

Roster Deadlines/Additions

Rosters must be submitted by 5 p.m. on the deadline date for each specific activity. Teams wishing to register for one-day tournaments may register the day of, unless otherwise specified.


Fees are mandatory for all tournaments. Regular-season sports may require a small fee.

Intramurals Office

The Office of Intramurals and Recreational Activities is located in the Office of the Dean of Students in Room N302 of O’Connor Hall.
