The chapter was inducted in May 2008, where its mission is to encourage and promote excellence in the social sciences and to uphold the ideals of scholarship and service. Students are inducted annually after achieving a 3.3 GPA in 21 social sciences credits, including sociology, economics, political science, anthropology and criminal justice. Club officers are elected. Charitable events are planned.
