SJC Bishops Chess Club

The SJC Bishops Chess Club endeavors to empower the students of St. Joseph's College and members of the surrounding community with the critical thinking, problem solving and logic-based skills associated with the game of chess.

Charity

Chess in the School is a nonprofit that funds chess programs for inner-city school children in an effort to facilitate an opportunity for building character, self confidence, and to enhance critical thinking and problem solving skills. As a result, students from the inner-city schools are involved in an intellectually stimulating extra curricular activity that will keep them involved in their school communities, and off of the streets.
