Sigma Iota Chi

Membership in Sigma Iota Chi is based on academic performance as well as on outstanding personal qualities that must be reflected, at least in part, in some involvement and/or service in extracurricular activity at the College during the past academic year. Candidates must represent the ideals of St. Joseph’s College.

Students with an 3.70 annual index based on grades earned at St. Joseph’s are eligible for election for one year.

Part-time students may request consideration for membership after completing the equivalent of each year’s work (30 credits). No student, full or part time, may receive membership more than four times. A student who holds membership for three years receives the key of the society.

Forms

If you are applying to this organization, you must fill out one activities form and submit one essay. Faculty need only to fill out one recommendation form for all three honors societies.
