The Speech Language Club educates students about the speech-language pathology professions. The Brooklyn club also raises charitable funds and each year holds a teddy bear drive to benefit children from St. Francis de Sales School for the Deaf. During St. Joseph's Annual Health Fair, members from the Speech and Language Club provide free hearing screenings for the St. Joseph's community.
Throughout the year, the club participates in many charitable and voluntary activities, such as raising funds for Operation Smile, a nonprofit organization that provides free cleft palate repair surgeries, the 2009 Walk Now for Autism event, the New York Cares Winter Coat Drive, the Project Cicero New York City Book Drive and collecting toys for the children of the St. Francis de Sales School for the Deaf. Also, members from the club provide free hearing screenings for the St. Joseph's community during the St. Joseph's Annual Health Fair.
