The Spirit Newspaper

The Spirit is the newspaper publication for and by students of St. Joseph’s College. Published every month during the academic year, The Spirit offers school-related news on campus, in addition to special issues during the year, including an orientation issue, holiday issue and more recently a special edition on Hurricane Sandy. The newspaper aims to report and comment on SJC student life and academics, sports, current events and entertainment. All views expressed in the paper are those of the students.

The Spirit Blog

With the advent of technology and evolving news mediums, change was inevitable for The Spirit. In addition to the print newspaper, the SJC Spirit blog was launched in fall 2012. The online blog edition features weekly up-to-date content to keep you in the loop on your smartphone or computer.

Membership is open to any and all SJC students, and positions are available for writers, artists, online editors/designers and photographers. For more info, please visit our blog or contact any of our social networks. The publications office is located on the ground floor of St. Angela Hall.
