PGS Transfer Evaluation Committee

The School of Professional and Graduate Studies Transfer Evaluation Committee evaluates students’ collegiate course work and non-collegiate sponsored instruction for the purpose of awarding transfer credit.

Functions

  • to review all transcripts that are not covered under existing transfer policies

  • to establish policies regarding transfer credit awards for collegiate and non-collegiate sponsored instruction

  •  to review existing transfer policy periodically

Membership

  • a total of six faculty members, one each from the following departments: community health, health administration, nursing, business administration, biology and chemistry.

  • provost

  • vice president and dean, School of Professional and Graduate Studies, ex-officio

  • registrar, School of Professional and Graduate Studies, ex-officio

  • associate registrar, Long Island Campus, ex-officio

  • assistant dean

  • assistant dean, Long Island Campus

  • assistant to the dean for academic advisement

  • coordinator of faculty, Long Island Campus

Chair: registrar, School of Professional and Graduate Studies

Term: one year
