The Intra-College Council serves as liaisons and vehicles for communication between the Schools of Arts and Sciences and Professional and Graduate Studies.
Functions
The Intra-College Council will typically meet at least once a year to make recommendations to the appropriate deans and the provost regarding the following:
the mission of the division
the development of the division, including programs, services and delivery systems (e.g. scheduling)
division degree requirements
division academic policies, including admissions requirements and honors
Membership
fourteen members, seven from the School of Professional and Graduate Studies faculty and seven from the School of Arts and Sciences faculty, with the academic deans and the provost serving ex-officio.
School of Professional and Graduate Studies representatives consist of one member from each of the following areas: community health, health administration, nursing and management; and three representatives at large.
Chair: Vice president and dean of the School of Professional and Graduate Studies
