The Planning Committee promotes long-range planning in support of the mission and goals of the College.

to serve as an advisory group to the president
to provide a vehicle for an exchange of information, ideas and opinions concerning institutional priorities and the future of the College
to augment the planning efforts currently conducted by existing structures, namely, the Board of Trustees, President’s Council, academic departments and committees

president – presiding officer, President’s Council
full-time faculty: campus-based
four elected by the faculty, Brooklyn Campus
four elected by the faculty, Long Island Campus
others may be included as resource persons as necessary
supervisory administrators: campus-based
two elected by supervisory administrators, Brooklyn Campus
