Sexual Harassment Committee

The Sexual Harassment Committee assists students and employees who believe they have been subjected to sexual harassment by a member of the College community.

Functions

  • to receive complaints of sexual harassment from students and/or employees

  • to seek informal resolutions of complaints, if possible

  • if informal resolutions are not achieved, to conduct a formal review of the allegations and recommend appropriate steps/responses to the president

Membership

  • at least three persons appointed by the president from the faculty and administration

Chair: The academic dean serves as the chair in cases involving students and/or faculty. The assistant to the president serves as chair in cases involving other employees.

Term: two years
