The Clare Rose Playhouse Presents 'Collected Stories'

PATCHOGUE, NY – OCTOBER 26, 2010 – The Clare Rose Playhouse, a community theater located on the Long Island Campus of St. Joseph’s College, will continue its 2010-11 season with Collected Stories, by Pulitzer Prize winner Donald Margulies. The show will run November 5 -21.

Collected Stories follows the relationship of two writers, an aging author with a romantic past and a young student who wants to benefit from and exploit the stories of her mentor. This interesting story of betrayal was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize in 1997, but in 2000, Margulies actually won the Pulitzer Prize for his production of Dinner with Friends, which was later turned into a film for HBO.

Individual tickets for this show are priced at $15; $12 for students and seniors. Show times are 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. on Sundays. For more information, please call the box office at 631.654.0199.
