PATCHOGUE, NY – June 1, 2011 – The Department of Accounting and Business Administration and the Office of Multicultural Student Life at St. Joseph’s College will host their first business expo, entitled “Digitizing Your Business: Using Social Media and Other Digital Tools to Grow Your Business” on Tuesday, June 7, at 6 p.m. in the John A. Danzi Athletic Center.
The purpose of this year’s business expo is to create a supportive community for growth and success by creating an ongoing collaborative effort through business. As a community member, St. Joseph’s College supports local businesses and this business expo will provide all in attendance with the opportunity to network and learn strategies to maximize marketing efforts.
The business expo will consist of a two-part workshop with the first part on “Social Media Basics” by Katherine Rupp ’96, marketing manager at Lencore Acoustics Group, and the second on “Networking and Social Media” by David Gussin, creator of 516Ads.com and 631Ads.com.
