In keeping with St. Joseph’s mission of providing a quality liberal arts education at a reasonable cost, this year’s incoming class consists of a diverse population of students from different backgrounds and areas from within the five boroughs, as well as a growing number of out-of-state and international students. To help offset the cost of tuition, SJC provides generous scholarship packages to students who qualify and financial aid options to help students afford a top quality education at one of the most affordable private colleges in the New York metropolitan area. In total, approximately 75 percent of St. Joseph’s students receive some form of financial aid.
“We enjoyed significant growth in the number of applications this year at SJC, and of those applicants, I’m pleased to report that they featured a stronger academic profile than they have in the past,” said Theresa LaRocca Meyer, vice president for enrollment management. “As we wrap up freshman orientation, we are excited to welcome them and all of our returning students to our Brooklyn Campus in stunning Clinton Hill.”
