“All of us at St. Joseph’s College feel honored to be among this list of schools,” said Shannon O’Neill, military adviser and assistant dean of the Long Island Campus. “It is a privilege and an honor to be able to serve those that have served our country. We hope to continue doing our best to assure academic success for our veterans that have sacrificed so much for our freedom.”
SJC proudly participates in the Post-9/11 GI Bill Yellow Ribbon Program, a program that makes additional funds available for education without additional charges to service members’ GI Bill entitlement; is a Servicemembers Opportunity College (SOC), a program established to help service members earn higher education degrees; and is a core SOCAD-4 member participating in the management network. In addition, SJC offers a variety of military benefits including special tuition rates for service members and off-site course offerings for active military and veterans.
