SJC Radio App Launched for Smartphones

PATCHOGUE, NY – DECEMBER 12, 2012 – St. Joseph’s College (SJC) is pleased to announce that a free app is now available allowing people to access SJC Radio from their smartphones. The free app can be downloaded by searching “SJC Radio” from your chosen app store.

“This app allows our listeners to tune in from any place at any time,” said Dylan Gafarian ’15, student station manager of SJC Radio. “It is really exciting and this is something that I have been hoping to give our listeners since SJC Radio first began broadcasting.”

SJC Radio was launched in September 2012 and is SJC’s first student-run radio station. Located on the Long Island Campus, the internet radio station provides students with a creative outlet while engaging their interests and offering music, information, news and a variety of programs to students, alumni, faculty, staff, administrators and the community at large.
