PATCHOGUE, N.Y. – OCTOBER 21, 2013 – As part of an ongoing series focusing on current health care topics, St. Joseph’s College (SJC) will host a presentation on the Affordable Care Act (ACA), “Obamacare and You: Are You Eligible and How to Sign Up,” on Wednesday, October 23 from 12:40-1:30 p.m. and again from 6:30-8 p.m. in the McGann Conference Center located on the College’s Long Island Campus.
John Sardelis, Dr.P.H., associate chairman of health care management at SJC, and Stacy Villagran, program director of the facilitated enrollment program and ACA navigator manager at Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council (NSHC), will co-present during the afternoon session on this topic.

We will tell you who is eligible, how to figure out your premiums and other important information to help you determine if this program benefits you.”

He is a member of the audit committee for the IPRO board of directors has been elected as chairman of the finance committee for the Affinity Health Plan board of directors.
Stacy Villagran is the program director for the Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council’s Facilitated Enrollment Program, a New York State Department of Health grant-funded program designed to offer eligible individuals assistance with their Medicaid, Child Health Plus and Family Health Plus insurance program applications.
