Patchogue, N.Y. – April 16, 2014 – St. Joseph's College (SJC) will hold an Earth Day Fair on Tuesday, April 22 from 12 - 2 p.m. on its Long Island Campus in Patchogue, N.Y.
To create a more sustainable culture at SJC, 15 organizations will participate in the Earth Day Fair and offer information for attendees. Some of the organizations that will be in attendance include Evelyn Alexander Rescue and Wildlife Center, Friends of Fire Island, the Sierra Club and Transit Solutions.
"The SJC Earth Day Fair welcomes many ecofriendly vendors, products and information to enhance sustainability,” said S. Suzanne Franck, assistant academic dean of SJC’s Long Island Campus. “Our hope is to raise awareness among the SJC community and have people commit to sustainability because it is a way of life.”

The Long Island Campus of SJC is located at 155 W. Roe Blvd. in Patchogue, and is accessible via the South Service Road of Sunrise Highway, just east of Exit 52 (Waverly Avenue).
