Special Events

The Office of Special Events hosts two major fundraising events each year the Annual Dinner Dance in the fall and the Golf Classic in the spring.

The 29th Annual Scholarship Gala will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, NY.  Erminia Rivera, trustee of the college and member of AM& G Waterproofing LLC and Park Avenue Building and Roofing Supplies LLC will be honored as the 2011 Distinguished Citizen.  Cheryl A. Felice ’03, E.M.B.A. ’08 President of Suffolk County Association of Municipal Employees will receive this year’s Outstanding Alumna award.  St. Joseph’s College 29th Dinner Dance web journal.

Additionally, the Office of Special Events hosts the Golf Classic each spring to raise important funds for the College’s athletic programs.  This year’s Golf Classic was held on Monday, June 6, 2011 at the Plandome Country Club, Plandome, NY.  Honoree Michael Ryan, President of The LandTek Group, Inc. helped raise over $140,000 which goes to St. Joseph’s College athletic programs.
