“This spring schedule marks our 60th program offering and we are proud to continue providing these classes for thousands of children,” said Linda Higgins, program coordinator. “The Especially for Children and Young People Program at St. Joseph’s College allows for children to take advantage of math/reading assistance courses, as well as the varied enrichment courses taught by New York State certified teachers on Saturday mornings.”
An exciting array of courses in math discovery, art, computer, kindergarten skills, study skills, Spanish and creative writing have been designed to stimulate curiosity and broaden the student’s awareness of the world in which we live. In addition, courses in supplemental math and reading will be available to provide reinforcement of the skills learned during the school year. A swim program will run in conjunction with the assistant/enrichment classes.
All courses are taught by New York State certified teachers in a caring environment, with a specific focus on the child.
