The Department of Psychology and the Office of Alumni Relations at St. Joseph’s College (SJC) are pleased to announce that they will co-host, “Psyched For the Future,” a psychology event featuring an experienced panel of SJC alumni. The event will take place on Monday, October 21 at 5 p.m.
Participating in the panel are Samantha Caputo ’10, LMSW; Krystalyn Kass ’12; Christopher Kearney ’01 Psy.D; Joseph M. Ricciardi ’09, M.A.; Kenneth J. Roche ’03, M.A. and Laura Van Schaick-Harman ’06, Psy.D.
This event will provide information about careers in psychology, graduate school, programs of study, professional experiences and more. The panel consists of alumni from a variety of fields, including, but not limited to, clinical psychology, mental health, social work, school psychology and research.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for students interested in pursuing different psychology-related fields to hear from a diverse group of psychology alumni about their graduate school and professional experiences,” said Diane Sherlip, Ph.D., associate professor of psychology. “One of the most rewarding aspects of this event is hearing how well our alumni have done in graduate school and in their professional lives.”
This event will take place in the Shea Conference Center of O’Connor Hall. It is free and open to SJC students and alumni. Refreshments will be served. RSVP at www.sjcny.edu/alumni or call 631.687.2653.
