Message from the President

In the wake of the catastrophic earthquake that has recently devastated Haiti, I would like to extend my support, prayers and deepest condolences on behalf of the entire College community. St. Joseph’s College has a large population of students, family and friends within the Haitian community and our thoughts and prayers are with them during this very distressing time.

Support services are available to all members of the College community who have been affected by these tragic events through the Office of Career Development, Wellness and Disability Services on both campuses. Please call Frank LaTerra at 718.940.5852 on the Brooklyn Campus or Dr. Mary Schultz at 631.687.4588 on the Long Island Campus if you are in need of assistance.

As we begin a new semester, I am confident that our student organizations will do our part to ease the victim’s suffering. If you would like to immediately assist the relief effort, please consider making a donation to the American Red Cross at the following link: Anyone trying to locate family members in Haiti is encouraged to contact the State Department at 888.407.4747.

Thank you and God bless,

Sister Elizabeth A. Hill, C.S.J., J.D.
